A lot of self-confidence is based on the way we think about ourselves. If we have negative thought patterns, they’ll drag us down and make us feel bad about ourselves. To start boosting your self-confidence, you need to get out of those negative thought patterns.

  1. Make a list of all the things that you like about yourself—this will remind you that there are some good things in your life.
  2. Write down every good thing that happened today—remember to be grateful for what has gone well today rather than focusing on what hasn’t gone well.
  3. Catch Yourself Doing Something Right: It can be as simple as smiling at someone or doing something nice for someone else without expecting anything in return. These small gestures will give you a boost of happiness, which helps improve your confidence level.
